Resolution No:1 :A Movement has to be created to save the students and youths from evil practices
Moved by: J.Thambi Prabakaran , Salem Regional Secretary.
The trend of gradually losing importance of individual and public morality, growth of influence of evils of religion, caste, and liquor, craze of office and cricket, terrorism and fanaticism, utilising the modern facilities of cellphone and internet for wrong purposes prevailing among the youth and students create grave concern over their future. Moreover the programmes of serials and advertisements in T.V. and Cinema are adding fuel to the fire. The culture of consumerism is spoiling the life of individuals and family life to a great extent.
To save the students and youth from all these evils, the conference resolves to start a new movement in the name of “Save our Youths Movement’ has to be started in every town and village.
Resolution 2 : Make employment Fundamental Right under the Constitution.
Moved by A. Sitrarasu, President of Tirupathur District Students Wing.
It was resolved to request the Government of India to make Education and Employment as Fundamental Rights under the Constitution of India.
Resolution No: 3 : The proposal to form a National Commission of Higher Education and introduce an Uniform Education through out India should be given up.
Moved by Mohandoss, Secretary of Tanjore Regional Students Wing.
This conference strongly condemns the attempt of the Ministry of Human Resource Development to create a new National Commission of Higher Education and Research and to introduce a uniform system of education throughout the nation.
The first and foremost lacuna in the scheme is that the system of reservation, which was gained by the oppressed people after a long battle, will not be there. The second thing is that the entrance examinations for admission into professional courses, threatening the oppressed people in the villages, is proposed to be introduced once again. Above all, the rights of the States are infringed. A uniform system of education will not be suitable to a subcontinent like India, multivarious races, languages, cultures, food habits, dress sense etc. This conference urges the Central Government to give up these schemes.

Resolution No: 4 : Give up the proposal to allow Foreign Universities to open shop in India.
Moved by M.Arivazhagan, Secretary of Arkonam District Students Wing.
This conference request the Ministry of the Human Resource Development to give up the proposals permitting foreign universities to open shops in India and to close the institutions functioning with the status of Deemed to be Universities in India.
From every point of view, either commercial or merit or quality, coming of the foreign universities to India is not going to benefit Indians in any way, but only will serve against their interests. This conference therefore insists the Government of India to give up this proposal. Otherwise, a situation will arise to make the students to come to streets and agitate, this conference cautions.

Moved by T.Thambi Prabakaran, Secretary of Villupuram Regional Students Wing.
This conference insists the Government of India to make provisions for reservations to SCs,STs and OBCs in employment opportunities in private sector also and to amend the Constitution of India suitably. This conference also requests the State governments to pass such resolutions in the Assemblies and send them to the Government of India.

Moved by Suresh, Secretary of Nagapattinam District Youth Wing.

Resolution No: 9 : Removal of temples and other places of worship from the pavements and public places encroached by religious organisations:
Moved by A.Shanmugam, Secretary of Trichy Regional Students Wing.
Even after the High Courts and Supreme Courts gave clear verdicts, the temples and other places of workship constructed in road-side pavements, roads and other public places encroached by the religious organisations have not yet been removed. In some places even new temples are being constructed. It is regrettable to note that the Government officers are supporting such illegal activities.
